connecting to itunes

I have the iPhone 12 and when I connect my phone to my computer with a cable, I get a prompt on my phone to either Trust or Do Not Trust. When I click Trust I enter my Devices Passcode and that's it. Sometimes my computer will recognize it is there and I can see my phone in the Device Manager but not in iTunes.

Can't "Trust this computer" with new iPhone 11 When I connect my new iPhone 11 to my Mac, the phone asks me to "Trust this computer" and then the next step is to enter the passcode as displayed on the Mac. iPhone says connect to iTunes but my cord does not work since I cannot press "Trust this Device" I bought an iPhone from my friend, and i can't reset it because the iPhone says connect to iTunes, but my cord does not work since I cannot press "Trust this Device"

Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes on the computer.
