AT&T iPhone won't unlock

I requested that my AT&T iPhone Xs be unlocked. They approved it, but the iPhone won't connect to the new service. I requested via 2 online requests and 1 phone call to tech support at AT&T.


Now what?

If you received an email from AT&T stating that the phone was unlocked, you need to restore the device to factory with iTunes before you can activate with a new carrier.
