Mail icon disappeared from home screen after update how to restore?
Cant find it anywhere or a way to restore it

Do a search for it on the phone. It should show you if it is in a folder. Otherwise, if you are on iOS 14, you should see the App Library at the end of your home screens. Find it there, and press and drag the icon out of there to a home screen and then set it where you wish. The other alternative is to go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. That will bring it back, but will also undo all of your folders.
