How to stop notifications regarding iCloud storage?

Every time I save a document, open a document etc etc, I get the notification that I'm out of iCloud storage. Someone PLEASE tell me how to stop these notifications. It stops my workflow and is so annoying

Does Apple want make their money by annoying me into just buying it to get rid of the notifications? That's how you ruin a brand.

I never expected Apple to begin spamming people for an increase in sales. Feels like it's soooo below them and I'm beginning to resent the company.
