My MacBook Pro won’t start up and I have the globe with the exclamation mark in a triangle with what I think is an error code of -2100F. FYI, I installed Sur a few days ago with no issues but now my Mac won’t start up.

That indicates some sort of network issue. Try connecting the laptop directly to your router using an Ethernet cable and any appropriate adapter if necessary.
You may also want to try a PRAM reset (hold the PRAM reset for at least three chimes or a full minute if possible unless you have a newer Mac where it only allows a single activation of the reset).
