Screen Recording

My screen recording has always worked and just two days ago it has been having issues and i haven’t been able to fix it. I hit it and it says “Not available when...” like in the picture but i have turned all of these off and i can’t seem to fix the issue. I have never used airplay or screen mirroring and my carplay has been turned off and i don’t know what else to do. I’ve tried going to restrictions in screen time but I never had any restrictions on so that did not help. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. (I have a iphone 11 with updated ios)

Thanks for your post! Based on the information, you've had some struggles recording your iPhone's screen. We've got your back!


It may seem simple, but have you tried to restart your iPhone in the last two days? If not, try that out first: Restart your iPhone


Do you happen to have any profiles installed? This would show up at the top of the Settings app, under your name. If you have an app configuration profile: How to delete an app that has a configuration profile on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


If the steps above don't resolve the error, try to disable Wi-Fi and then Bluetooth; testing between them to determine what might be causing the alert. Also, test screen recording in multiple apps to make sure it's not specific to one app.
