how do I open an existing Pages document in a tab

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to open an existing Pages document in a tab. And can only get the selection of the templates.

I am using MacOS 11.0.1 and Pages 10.3.5

This is driving me nuts, cause I know it will be something obvious.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi viperlx316,

It is not possible (as far as I know) to create a group of Pages documents under a master document.

Create a new folder in Finder

Drag all the Pages documents for that project to that folder.

Double click to open that folder and shift click to select all the documents.

Right click (or control click) and choose Open.

In Pages, Menu > Window > Merge All Windows.

All open windows will appear in tabs.

Click on a tab to move between Pages documents.

Tested in Pages version 10.2 under macOS Catalina10.15.4

Regards,

Ian.
