Unable to open iTunes Visualizer

I am unable to start my iTunes Visualizer on my late 2009 13" MacBook which is running on latest macOS supported update of High Sierra. Neither the standard nor Classic versions will start up whether using hotkey ⌘T or selecting the command from the Menu Bar drop-downs: View > Visualizer > Show Visualizer*. * - And in place of the target command of 'Show Visualizer', is its reverse, 'Hide Visualizer'. Which is supposed to be the command when the visualizer is active. Although the incorrect command was being displayed, I was nevertheless shocked & dissatisfied that this selection also failed at producing the Classic Visualizer I have been so accustomed to. .... Rats! I hope it's just a freak & temporary glitch.
