Purchase iPhone with trade in

HI Im looking to purchase a new iPhone for my wife for Xmas I wish to trade her phone in. If I purchase 30th Nov 2020 Get her the phone for Xmas day, can I send then send in the old iPhone 7 after Xmas day ? Not sure if there is a time scale to get it returned.

Trade in I have an iphone to trade in. I want to preorder the new iphone 12 pro max. The phone expected to arrive between 24/11/2020 - 01/12/2020. That's about 17-24 days. The trade in program on the website said that I have to send my old phone in within 14 days. I need my phone until the new phone arrived. Can i send in my old phone when the new phone arrived and still get the trade in value? That will be after 14 days once i placed my preorder.

You have 14 days to return the old iPhone from the date you receive the packaging material.
