Can I trade in my current iPhone past the 14 days period after receiving a new iPhone?

I am planning on buying a new iphone and wanted to trade in my current iphone. Is it possible to trade it after the 14 days period apple gives you to send in your current device or no?

You can trade it in anytime. The 14 day restriction is to return it for a refund.

Trade in I have an iphone to trade in. I want to preorder the new iphone 12 pro max. The phone expected to arrive between 24/11/2020 - 01/12/2020. That's about 17-24 days. The trade in program on the website said that I have to send my old phone in within 14 days. I need my phone until the new phone arrived. Can i send in my old phone when the new phone arrived and still get the trade in value? That will be after 14 days once i placed my preorder.

Trade in before new phone. So i have just ordered the new Iphone 12. And have traded in my Iphone XS max at the same time. Apple say i have to send the XS max within in 14 days. This is before the Iphone 12 is going to be here. Obviously i don't want and can't be with out a phone for any period of time. Is this how it works?? Or can i just send my Iphone in once my 12 is here?
