My iPhone XS Max got water into it

My iphone XS Max got water into it and started glitching and everything changed to a green colour. I powered it off straight away and put it in rice and removed the SIM card tray but it's been around a day and it's still not working. there's nothing else wrong with the phone but idk what to do. i don't want to pay for the repair but i don't want it to go bad either.
