mbp mid 2017 non touch bar - can't startup unless I run the diagnostics twice

Hi, my mbp a1708 has a startup problem.

It shows a folder with a question mark every time I try to start up.

Then I turn off my mbp and run the diagnostics.

It says I might have a problem with storage device.

But if I run the diagnostics once more, it says I don't have any problems, then it starts up normally.


Do you guys think this is really a storage device failure?

or Any thoughts with this issue?

If the Apple Diagnostic is reporting an issue, then there is a good chance the SSD is failing. See if your laptop qualifies for this free Apple SSD repair program:
