Mac mini M1 display doesnt start up, when connected via USB-C - Display Port cable

Hi, anyone have the same issue? After turning off the monitor and/or replugging the cable it works fine with 1440p@144 Hz, butit starts frustrating. Also the issue with Bluetooth is disappointing.

Despite this i love my new Mini, it's strong, silent, and look very good!

Pls, solve this problems as fast as possible.

Thanks!

Ugh, that's awful. I've got a Mini DisplayPort w/ a non-Apple monitor and it sucks to have to unplug and plug back in every time. You're right, it takes an awfully long time as well to connect.

I've not got any issues with Bluetooth thankfully but I do get kernel panics 2–3 times a day where it almost always kills the system and results in lost files, there's no warning at all. Even then, it'll sit there for anywhere between 10 seconds and 2 minutes, then restart... most the time...

Not cool. I spoke to customer about both issues and their advice was SMC reset and also to reinstall the OS (just over top of the existing Big Sur install).

Neither made a difference...
