If you cancel iTunes Match, do you lose all the music you have gathered and synced from all your devises?

If you cancel iTunes Match, do you lose all the music you have gathered and synced from all your devises? I have 4 or 5 iPods and different computers that all have different music and many different playlists installed (mostly from CDs). I would like to sync them all but do not want to lose all that music at the end of the day.

Before cancelling iTunes Match make sure that all of your media is downloaded to a computer and is backed up. You can then add music from your local library to any of your devices as you see fit. You will lose access to matched or uploaded content that is stored in the cloud when the subscription ends. This may also affect content that is on an iOS device when iCloud Music Library AKA Sync Library is turned off.
