Need to input audio from a tape cassette into iMac Pro 2017 - no audio input - A 7k machine and no input jack. whats up Apple?


Anyone fin a workaround to input audio from an external device like a cassette or micro cassette player?

Yes, what DonH49 wrote. Technically it’s a thunderbolt 3 , which supports USB-C. You can either try to look for a usb-c audio interface... or get a usb-c to usb-a adapter( they’re cheap) and then get a usb audio interface. Behringer makes a Uphono usb a audio adapter which will support your cassette deck no problem.
