My apple mail keeps removing the out going server to my aol account and I can not send emails from apple mail. Also i now can not add a new gmail account. Does anyoe have suggestions?

apple email keeps removing my outgoing server for my aol account and gmail accounts. Ive been on with apple support for 3 days and tried eveything. they are dumbfounded. Im waiting for the specialists to call me tomorrow Has anyone encountered this issue?
