My iPhone Xs is having the same issue with iPhone X touch issues where some part of the screen does not respond or would sometimes respond after multiple tries, and there are also times when the screen suddenly reacts even if I'm not touching it.
I already went to apple authorized service provider but they said that only iPhone X model is covered for the free display replacement.
