Getting a lot of glare on Night Mode picture. Take a look. Its pitch black out with a near full moon.
This is an iPhone 12 Pro Max.
I don't get this on my son's iPhone 12.
I've tried aperture adjustment, etc.

I don't agree. As I stated I got a very different result from my son's iPhone 12. I have also taken shots of the sky at night with the iPhone 11 Max and not had these issues. I've been photographing the sky for many, many years.
I think there is an issue with the coating of the lens on the iPhone 12. I get strange, reflection artifacts even in daytime.
