Mail notification is not showing in lock screen

My email notifications are not showing on my iphone lock screen in IOS14. Are other people experiencing the same problem?

Incorrect badge notifications on messages I’ve read all my messages in my iPhone 13, yet have a persistent red badge indicator that I still have 13 unread messages. I’ve updated ios, turned off notifications, restarted the phone & then turned notifications back on - still those 13 phantom unread text messages☹️
