I would like to add an annotation with my Apple Pencil, when I choose "Smart Annotation" the toolbar showed from the bottom, and only the Highlighter works, if I tap Pen, it will remind me "Tap anywhere with Apple Pencil to add a drawing." There is no way to add any notes directly with the Apple Pencil.

It occurs with all documents. Both my iPad and Pages are updated to the latest version, and I have restarted my iPad several times.
I noticed that there are same questions here in the community, hope the there will be new version of Pages soon to solve this problem.
