Frequent Chrome quits in Big Sur on M1 Mini

Came from MacBook. Air running Catalina, Chrome super stable. Now with latest version on my Big Sur powered M1 mini, Chrome quits frequently without warning just like I have closed it. I have tried searching on here and Chrome boards but don't find any similar complaints.

Hoping for some expert help.

Chromium based apps occasionally shatter (render blue noise) on MacOS Catalina I have a MacBook Pro 16" running MacOS Catalina 10.15.4 (19E266) and this is what occasionally happens to me. Sometimes, seemingly after the laptop wakes up from sleep, all Chromium applications (Chrome, Electron, ...) start having this ugly blue noise - surprisingly at the same time (not just one). On the other hand it does not seem to be WebKit in general, since Safari is not affected by that. Is it a known issue? Closing and reopening the Chrome does not help. I need to restart the computer.

why does chrome keep crashing on new the macbook pro using MacOS Big Sur 11.0 Got the new MacBook Pro 13" with the latest systems and chip and using MacOS Big Sur 11.0. Chrome has been crashing constantly on a random basis since I bought it - any tips!

Google Chrome crashes every day since I received my new MacBook Air with M1 Chip Hi, Is anyone experiencing Google Chrome crashing on their new 2020 mac book air with m1 chip? I would be in the middle of working and the program just shuts down. I then get a window when I reopen chrome to restore tabs. Any reason why this is happening? Does anyone know what needs to happen in order to fix this? Apple Support Care to chime in here? Thank you!

I had the same problem using my new Mac Air with the M1 Apple chip. As Dailabrain linked to below you need the native M1 version of Chrome.

FWIW, I don't normally use Chrome but I'm testing the M1 native version. So far, no crashes.
