After IOS 14, Ford Sync no longer connects with certain apps

Like my title says, after the IOS 14 update, my Ford Sync no longer connects with certain apps, especially music apps.

My Ford SYNC system is up to date and I use an Apple certified cord, but when I open "I Heart Radio" or Pandora app on my Ford MFD (multi functional display), they don't open and I will get an error saying not able to connect.

The only way for these apps to open and work with my Ford SYNC MFD system is to open the app on my phone, then wait for it to load, then I can open and use the app on my Ford MFD.

Any ideas why this is happening?
