Apps showing blank on Carplay

I have a 2019 GMC Acadia and when I am using apple carplay I have a lot of apps that do not show up anymore on the dash screen. For example whenever I go to apple carplay on my vehicles screen and choose I heart radio it just shows up as a blank screen. Same with pandora and spotify. All of the apple apps work fine on the screen. I have to constantly keep going on the phone’s screen to use those apps. I’ve tried rebooting the car and the phone to no success.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We understand that when you use CarPlay some of your apps are not showing on the dashboard screen on your car and you have to access them from your iPhone. Rebooting the car and phone have not had any affect. We would recommend moving on to the suggestions in the following support article:
