An update to Open Office v 4.1.8 won't load

After downloading, when I double click to load it, I've tried holding down the Option key, I've tried holding down the command key but still get an error: “OpenOffice” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. I've been using Open Office without incident until now - I'm using OS 11.1
