On my iPhone 11 when a voicemail is left the red dot is displayed but there’s no alert sound heard. I checked Do Not Disturb is off, Ringer and Alerts sounds is 3/4 on the bar, changed to a different alert sound, restarted, hard reset, mute button’s off and sounds are working fine other than voicemail. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

We see that you're not getting a notification sound when you have a new Voicemail. Making sure you have that audio is important to make sure you are alerted to new messages is important. We're glad you reached out for help.
If you go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics do you have a tone selected for "New Voicemail"? If you select a new tone do you hear that alert for an incoming message? Do you have any issues with other notifications you receive?

Thanks for the reply. I had already checked the tips you mentioned and those weren’t a problem but after a few days more of tinkering, my alert sound is back and I’m not even sure how I fixed it. I appreciate your reply. Cheers!
Well, it’s happening again. No voicemail alert sound. I just updated the software and unset/reset the notifications settings so I’ll see if that helps.
