When i set screentime to Netflix app, it doesnt apply on my kid’s ipad. It doesnt even show time limit. Why is it happening? Is there any fix? I tried setting app limit only to netflix and it still doesnt work.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner. Pick the closest topic you can find.
It is somewhat early ridiculous that Apple cannot solve this problem.
The parental control section really needs to be improved for me to continue to be happy with this product.
Apple should really be ashamed of itself for not allowing its parents to control time on Netflix.
Screentime lock doesnt apply for netflix.
