I think it’s because your “Use Listening History” is off in settings. Same thing happened to me.
Did you check? Your “use listening history “ option has nothing to do with the “For You” playlists. I have been getting for you recommendations for years and just turned on the “use listening history” today.
No, my use listening history is on in all my devices, my listening history clearly influences my "for you" playlists.
