pdf files suddenly disappeared from iCloud

all of my pdf files suddenly disappeared from all my devices connected to iCloud. I thought I deleted them but nothing found in the deleted file on I cloud webpage. Can you help me ?

If not found at www.icloud.com then it sounds like they are gone.
