Big Sur notification center stuck

Thanks, after killing Notification in terminal using:

killall NotificationCenter

and then bringing it back up by clicking on the clock in the upper right hand corner I did as you suggested and removed a widget BEFORE clicking on any of the notifications and it seems to have resolved the problem.

I experienced this issue after upgrading (not a clean install). I was able to resolve it by doing the following...

1. Opening Notification Center by clicking on the Date/Time in the task bar\
2. Scroll to the bottom and click "Edit Widgets"
3. Add or remove at least 1 widget
4. Click in the blank gray space to save changes and exit

I've got this problem since updating to 11.1 yesterday.

killall NotificationCenter

in a terminal (or any other means to kill this process) restarts the notification centre when it's stuck.

Advice Not working here. I get the SPUD as soon as I invoke Notifications on a MBP and Big Sur 11.1
