If you purchased the extended, two year AppleCare+ warranty plan, then the screen damaged is covered.

If you did NOT purchase this extended warranty plan, then NO screen damage is covered.


The free, standard, limited, one-year AppleCare ( no plus sign ) warranty plan ONLY covers manufacturing/manufacturer product defects and NO other types of product damage caused by the user.
