I just ordered the new M1 mac mini and i have a old benQ monitor which supports vga and dvi connections. So will i be able to connect my mac mini with the monitor via a hdmi to dvi cable?
If not, what is the alternative? Please suggest.

Both DVI and VGA are prehistoric obsolete. Replace with new.
How long is the cable? Use one 3 feet or shorter.
im trying to connect a BENQ g2020hd monitor and "out of range" is flashing intermittently between the home screen being displayed. so the screen is connected but there is another issue. ive tried to alter the settings in the 'display' tab, but nothing is working. is there a fix for this?
both cables did not worked with my benQ monitor. So I had to buy a new monitor with HDMI port.
