face id not working iphone xr

cant set up face id on iphone xr .......ripped off my brand new screen protector as suggested to try and see if that was in the way and no change.

Privacy screen protector Does full screen privacy screen protector affect face id? i am having issues with face id as it sometimes does not recognize my face and this happened only after applying privacy screen protector. I tried deleting my face id and reconfiguring it thinking it might adapt to changes but even after successfully configuration it fails to recognize sometime. It only recognizes when i hold my phone closer to my face. Has anyone faced same issue or it’s just me?

Face ID Issue on iPad Pro I have a problem with the Face ID of my iPad, it says “Face ID not available” everytime I try to activate it. I already removed the screen protector I got (which wasn’t cheap to begin with!) and reseted my iPad to factory settings but it still says the same thing. What can I do?
