How do I add an MP3 file to Apple Music without subscribing to Apple music?

I am able to listen to music via bluetooth connection in my car via media but how can I get my MP3 rehearsal tracks loaded to Apple Music?

Hello 99-red,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand you'd like to add and hear music from an MP3 file format in the Music app. We can help point you in the right direction.

You can adjust the import and encoding format for MP3 files to work in the Music app by using a computer. Then, you can sync your iOS device to the computer and access your music library. Here's some helpful articles on how to perform these steps:

  1. Choose import settings in Music on Mac
  2. Choose import settings in iTunes on PC
  3. Import music from a computer to Music on Mac
  4. How to add items to iTunes on PC

Kind regards.
