Face ID

My daughter is on our family plan and got a new iPhone 12. There’s no option on her phone to use the Face ID. Is that normal since she’s a child on a family plan? Is there any way to turn on the Face ID option for her phone?

Face ID issue. Hi Apple, It's been one year using iPhone 11 now I'm fully satisfied with its performance but I'm concerned about the face id actually my younger brother can access my phone with Face ID, how can it be possible? we are not twins at all.
