ecovery server is damaged.

I cannot install macos sierra it says The installer information on the recovery server is damaged. I have tried changing the daye so that i can use expired certificates cause that was what was recommended but then another message pops up that says untrusted certificate title . What can i do to fix this problem?

It appears that you're having a problem installing macOS Sierra on your Mac. You receive a message that the installer information is damaged. When you try to change the date in order to use expired certificates, you receive another error message. How to reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery  - Apple Support -- Restart your Mac in macOS Recovery to install macOS Sierra. This should bypass the certificate issue.
