I recently upgraded from macOS Mojave to Catalina and was surprised to see this appear in the list of applications. It is apparently from an unknown developer, and is 32-bit.
With the exception of EtreCheckPro, I have no third party applications installed on my iMac.
Anyone have information on what this is, and if it is safe to remove?

I found it in System Information after I did my Catalina install.
I think it came over via Migration Assistant after I did the clean install of macOS Catalina to a freshly formatted external SSD..
It apparently was located in my User Account /.../Public/4368/InitioDevicePlugin.app
Thanks. Well, you can rest assured that's where I looked and it's not present. I'm sure it's ok to delete.

It is now gone from my system -- have no idea how it got installed. I wonder if it was associated with a legacy WD USB drive that I had been using for Time Machine a while back?
I any event, it's gone and everything seems to be running normally.

There is nothing by that name on any of my Macs.
Could be. Was it in System Information, or Applications? In any event I checked both locations and it's not present.
