iCloud

Hey everyone,

I am new here, and can usually figure out my apple issues through Google and YouTube. I have been an iPhone user for several years, but I can not figure out why my iCloud is not backing-up correctly. A few months ago I finally purchased some additional space (200gb) of iCloud storage, mostly so I would easily be able to backup my phone completely without using the computer, and to make setting up a new device a breeze, without losing any data. I always seem to lose a few contacts, photos, and other data whenever setting up a new device on iTunes, so I have been willing to fork out a few bucks a months for iCloud.

Here is the issue I am having. My phone is 128 gb, and I am using roughly 90gb of it. My iPhone now backs up regularly through iCloud, but my iCloud storage is only using up about 30gb of storage. When I log onto icloud.com, it only shows about 30 contacts that are saved, contracts that were originally in my phone several years ago.. but it doesn't have any contacts that I have added to my phone in the last 4+ years.

Can anyone help me figure out why my phone seems to be backing up just fine, but it doesn't seem like all the data is being saved? In my phone's iCloud settings, I have everything selected for backup, so I am not sure why this is happening.

Please help me out, and let me know if there is any better information I can provide you with. Thank you!
