Problems with emailing myself

Has anyone had the problem, not being able to email yourself from your IPhone?

I cant even send myself an article from a newspaper, without recieving the mail with the message that the message cannot be shown due to wrong format, and that I have to contact the sender to use another emailprogram.

There is NO problem with my mail-host, and my webmail and my pc is working lige a baby...its only my IPhone that has the problem....I have uninstalled my email acount and reinstalled it again, and same problem occurs on aprox every third mail....it isnt a constant problem....

It might have something to do with the bcc, cuz usually I send everything bcc myself, but I have stopped doing that, and now the email works 2 out of three times.....

Does anybody have a solution for this??

I don't know about a solution, but I've never seen that occur before.

You say that you have turned off the setting for bcc yourself when you send all mail? You say it will now work 2 of 3 times. What happens on the 3rd time. Are you seeing this incorrect format message? Do you have any issues with mail coming from anyone else?

The third time I get the message about not being sble to read the mail due to formate!!!

i have NO issues recieving og sending email from/to anyone else...

and no problem in my webmail (linked to my mail adress) og at the same mailadress on my laptop...only on my Iphone

And you say that you have deleted the mail account and added it back to the iPhone and the behavior continues? If that is the case, I suggest you use the Contact Support link at the top of the page here and contact Apple Support. An alternative would be to contact your email provider and see if they can check the backend to explain why you receive the error.

My email provider cant help me, since the problem is not with them.

ill try to contact Apple support tomorrow.

Where are these articles from that you're trying to email yourself? Might there be a different way you can accomplish the same thing, e.g. save the articles to Notes or Files?

Yes, strange it is. Does this just happen when you are trying to email an article? What if you just write yourself an email in the mail app and send that to yourself. What happens then?
