Why quality of frontal camera in I phone 6s much better then in iPhone XR???

iOS 16 issues with camera Anyone else having issues with the camera post iOS 16 update? I have an iPhone 13 pro max and noticed after I updated, my camera quality got significantly worse. Pictures look blurry and low resolution, and I've tried everything from resetting the phone to downloading third party camera apps. Both front and back cameras just took a massive hit in quality. Even worse is I updated to 16.0.2 and somehow the quality got even worse. I'm wondering if anyone has the same issue and was able to fix it?

se 2020 continuity camera... how? I launched photo booth and place by se 2020 's back camera facing me. the phone was horizontal. Continuity camera has been turned on in iPhone's settings. But nothing appears even in the camera menu of photobooth. Im using a mac mini m1. Any guess whats wrong? Neerav

The FaceTime camera on these phones are only 2MP different: 5MP (6s) & 7MP (XR), so I wouldn't expect too much difference in quality; however, it may be possible that the XR phone has a defective camera, lens issue, or something else that could be the reasons why. The XR's camera also relies on TrueDepth processing where the 6s does not. You don't mention how you obtained the XR. That is did you purchase it new directly from Apple or used from another third-party?
