Stainless Steel Scratches - iPhone 12 Pro Max

Good evening to all,

After 12 days with the iphone 12 pro max, I found that there are scratches on the stainless steel frame. From day one, a MagSafe case has been installed and the phone has not been dropped. Does it make sense for this to happen, on such an expensive mobile phone ??

Does Apple Care+ Cover Screen Scratches? I have apple care+ for my iPhone 13 and I have some scratches on the screen. Some of them are pretty deep but I don’t think any of the would be considered cracks. Does apple care+ cover screen repair for scratches like this? And if so is there an extra charge to getting it fixed?
