HomePod suddenly dies, no power, doesn’t respond

Hi all,

Yesterday morning I turned on my Apple TV and one of my attached HomePod’s did not wake up. So I tapped on it and no bueno. No life. Tried to reset it, unsuccessful. Checked the fuse, checked the cable. Nada.... I have seen quiet few dead HomePod’s popping up recently on Reddit and other forums.

Mine was purchased on August 2018.

Took it to the Apple store and only suggestion what I got from the technician there was to swap it for a replacement at almost full price of new one. Some 10% discount... they didn’t even trie to figure out what did happen to it.... tbh I would expect HomePod to give up on me like this last... DISAPPOINTMENT...
