MacBook air keyboard not working

Keyboard not working on macbook air - when i press p it activates the caps lock, when i press caps lock it acts as a button when entering password, when pressing backspace it mutes laptop, volume buttons dont work at all, 1&2 buttons not working. Haven't dropped, spilled or done anything to laptop to cause. Just started not working yesterday. Have tried the two reboots mentioned (CMD,option,p,r and CMD, shift, option). Any help would be appreciated as laptop needed for work!! Thank you!
