How to record the screen on my Mac with mac sound?

Felpix, are you able to record both your mic and your internal audio with your setup?

I have the Blackhole 2ch installed, and it does record my internal audio, but it won't allow me to also record my mic.

I'm on a M1 Mini, running OSX 11.1, and I do my screen recordings with QuickTime 10.5.

Again, the Blackhole allows me to finally record internal computer audio, but I've yet to get it to also record the mic. Let me know if that is working for you.

I missed the M1 reference. Pacifist might be able to install it.

i'm now thinking that it may work for black hole too since you went farther with that option. if you try it, please let us know. :)

Hi, just try to record both screen w/audio and Microphone, but the audio from the Mic is really low compared with computer sound...almost useless. I will check if there is any work-around.

while waiting for big sur i wasn't sure if the soundflower kext was going to continue working after catalina. one of the options i looked at was BlackHole Virtual Audio Driver. it's an app that provides this functionality. according to the site, it works on big sur. but, again, not sure it will work on an m1 mac.

i saw a suggestion regarding soundflower on M1 macs. i can't test it on my intel mac. but you may want to have a look here to see if this helps you. good luck.
