Issues with Sidecar and Apple Pencil

I am trying to use Sidecar with Adobe Photoshop on a desktop Mac, an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil for digital illustration to replace Astropad, but when I start drawing the line begins about 1cm above where I put the pencil down. This is extremely frustrating and has completely thrown off the accuracy I’m able to achieve. I feel like I’m drawing with my opposite hand. Anyone got a fix for this or know when they’re going to be fixing this infuriating issue?
