Why was I charged N6200 today for an app (iTunes) that is not even downloaded or active on my phone? and why is my request to add another method of payment rejected?

See information in If you see "apple.com/bill" or an unfamiliar charge on your statement - Apple Support

There is also information there in item 5 about contacting Apple Support for help with a billing issue.

You may want to first update it to the current iOS 14.2 -- see: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then see if the following works (from See your purchase history for the App Store, iTunes Store, and more - Apple Support ):

See your purchase history on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name, then tap Media & Purchases. You might be asked to sign in.
  3. Tap Purchase History.
  4. Your purchase history appears. If you want to see purchases that you made more than 90 days prior, tap Last 90 Days, then select a different date range.
