The left shift key on my macbook pro 2019 is not capitalizing, instead, it is taking me to the desktop every-time. I've tried to look at shortcuts, slow keys , sticky keys, but nothing seems to be working. I would really appreciate some help on this.

I have Mac desktop 10.15.7 and the left shift key is opening the desktop, not capitalizing. New keyboard still does same. How to fix? I've tried everything I can find on it. Window disappears when left shift button is pressed Every time I use the left shift key on my 2017 MacBook Air, the window that I'm on disappears. The letter I want to capitalize does get capitalized but I have to push shift again for the window to appear. The right shift key doesn't do it. I've gone into system preferences and set the keyboard back to default settings and that didn't work. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!
