I have HBO Max subscription thru apple TV, and I have family sharing set up. One family member is trying to Log in to HBO Max app on a TV with the apple ID and password - not working. Does HBO Max app only work on an apple device?
HBO Max requires its own app, not available through the Apple TV app. Get it from the Channel Store.
Apple Family Sharing works with Apple apps and/or Apple devices.
Consult with HBO Max about the use of HBO Max subscriptions through Apple on other devices.
