Anyone facing the same issue when extending the display to 2nd monitor using USB C HDMI cable? It was ok prior but suddenly the 2nd monitor cannot receive signal from macbook pro. At times, it takes more than 3 minutes and the display appears on 2nd monitor.
When using dock with hdmi port, it works fine.

what Mac? what MacOS? what equipment: display makes and models, adapters cables and docks and how are all these connected? specific enough so that readers can look all these devices up.

2nd monitor: VIEWSONIC VX3276-2K-MHD 32 IPS QHD MONITOR
The issue is when connecting using Fibra Tough USB C to HDMI (usb c port on macbook pro to monitor hdmi port). Periodically, the display will appear after few minutes. Tried other USB C to HDMI, gives the same issue too.
Dock: Aukey (usb c with multiple ports including hdmi) - working just fine.
