Can’t open a QuickTime on my iPhone

I recently upgrade iMovie on my iMac and created a new video. I have been creating lots of new videos and sharing to YouTube throughout the lockdown period this year so I am familiar with the process. However I have saved the movie to files and downloaded to my iPhone X via iCloud but when I open it it only plays the audio, with just the big Q on this screen. I cant import it to iMovie either and every time I try to share to YouTube directly from iMac it says share file failed- what happened? It used to be so easy? Now I have great content that I can’t share with anyone!!! I created a movie for a little girls birthday which is today so that was a waste of time! Help

iPhone X, iOS 14

When you share the movie to file on your desktop, does it play audio and video there? If yes, then try sharing it to your iPhone with AirDrop. And try uploading to You Tube by dragging the video into You Tube's upload window instead of sharing directly from iMovie.
