ITunes Netflix Subscription Support Ending

As Apple now has its own subscription television service they have decided to no longer support customers with existing Netflix subscriptions through iTunes. I was seeking to upgrade my Netflix account from HD to 4K. The only option, via ITunes, is to cancel. As long asyour Netflix account is billed via iTunes, customers are unable to update via either option.

From what I’ve been told the only option is to cancel Netflix via iTunes, and then open the account for 4K via Netflix. Neither company really seems to be willing to alter its approach.

I stand by my account. Other than canceling, Customers remain unable to alter their Netflix account via iTunes. And per Netflix customer service, Customers who are billed via their iTunes accounts cannot be helped by Netflix staff and are directed to make changes via iTunes.

Essentially it is a run around by both companies.

Ultimately, and by design, it seems the sole option is to cancel the account via iTunes and open an account via Netflix
